My Little Rascal

20.9.10

The last week or so has been a zoo. With Jacob starting school and walking him over, Cole still up every night and three boys to look after every day, it can get BUSY! I am excited that as of this past Friday, Jacob walked to school for the very first time all by himself. I was adamantly against him walking by himself at first as he is barely just turned 5. But with all the kids walking over, neighbors that walk with him, and the whole school yard visible from my kitchen window I changed my mind. He did GREAT!  The double stroller we have doesn't fit Cole till he gets bigger so Riley and Cole still need to be in separate strollers or Cole in the baby carrier. Some days I would send Riley and Cole to our neighbors, or I would have someone stay at the house, but then the boys would have to go down for their naps, and before you knew it, I was back at the school to pick Jacob up.

Now I have a sinus infection, and a major chest cold that I'm afraid is turning into bronchitis...like it does almost every time. It completely drains all of my energy. It is days like this that makes me wish we still lived in our one level. Running laps up and down stairs to get 2 kids up and down all day is a good work out - when you're not sick.

Anyway - that is how it has been as of late.

Onto other things.....

Out of all my boys - so far, Riley has had the most energy. He is constantly a comedian. He will do anything to get a reaction. He has so many facial expressions - such a personality! We have several nick names for him. Scamp, rascal, fire cracker, ham and a lot more. I love his spunky personality, and how he loves to make others smile.

**Even though he is too big for his Bumbo, he still loves crawling all over and sitting in his old seat - I wonder how he'll react once Cole starts using it? That day is coming very soon.....

I hope you feel better soon! I can't believe how much hair Riley has. Miss V turns two next week and doesn't have that much hair yet! Of course, people also think she is only 15 months old....
