Indoor Tenting

17.6.10

When I was little, one of my favorite things to do was
pull all of the kitchen chairs together and place a blanket over the top to make a tent. I could play for hours doing this.

It was a pretty bleak, dreary, rainy day and decided to make one for Jacob. It started out with 2 chairs, to 3 then 4. Riley and Jacob played together. They brought in their pillows, blankets, toys and just had fun together.

Great way to pass the time, plus it brought back great memories too!

Jacob said Riley was looking through the window.

It's so weird that you would post this. Just yesterday, I saw an ad for a blanket/sheet type thing that kids use to make forts, but it is more structured with corners and so forth, so the forts look more "real". Kind takes the imagination out of the whole thing IMHO. Blankets and chairs are the way to go! :-)

That is an awesome idea! Except my chair legs would need padding for when my two wrestle underneath and the eventual happens.
