Breast Pump Giveaway

Wendy from WeSnLaNi is hosting a giveaway for two Evenflo Comfort Select Performance DUAL select Automatic Cycling Breast Pumps!

I have been in search of a good breast pump. I tried several with Jacob with no success. I didn't breastfeed much longer than maybe exclusively the first two months and that was it.

Cracked, sore, difficulty latching. It wasn't fun.

I am determined that things will go more smoothly the second time around and I would prefer to breastfeed longer if at all possible. I think having a handy breast pump would be awesome, especially since the good ones seem to cost way more.

Check out the giveaway here for more details.

Oh, I'm so sorry you didn't get to breastfeed very long - Z wouldn't latch on for 6 weeks- he just refused, but I was able to rent a Medela double electric pump (you can get them through WIC, too, or Medicaid if you're eligible) - and it worked great. And after 6 weeks, he latched right on, and weaned at a year - I hope your experience is better & easier this time, and yes, this pump would definitely help out!!! :) Heading on over to register now! :)

Breastfeeding seems like it should be so easy, but amazingly isn't. I'm going through issues now at 7 months. Persephone suddenly wants to nurse ALL the time, especially at night. So I'm sore all over again! I have no idea what is going on with her, though it seems to be a common age for this to happen. She has been the hardest to nurse of all my babies. My milk did not come in well at the beginning. To tell you the truth, lactation consultants seem to just make things more difficult. I sometimes feel like if they'd leave you alone, everything would work itself out. Instead, they're all freaking out when things aren't perfect 48 hours after the birth... Anyway, that is my little side rant for the day.
