1st Train Ride

14.4.09

Here are a few pictures from our train ride. It was a lot of fun - but sadly it was like any mode of transportation - I got motion sickness lol. Jacob hasn't stopped talking about it since and keeps asking to go again. They had a childrens bag filled with cardboard trains, colors, and a train information coloring book. They had Kung Fu Panda playing in a theater type room, and he got to see the dining car; walking as far back to the other passenger cars as he could. I was considering making this into a sideshow but decided just to post a few of the highlights.

Looks like fun. It is Cameron's dream to go on a train. One of these days we'll have to take him.

Fun! Looks (and sounds) like he had a great time! I'd love to take the boys on a train ride - and even go on one myself.

Tate would go NUTS if we took him on something like this! I love that pic. of Jacob getting on the train steps. :) So, is this a train that is a tourist type of thing where they give rides?

Fun! My youngest son was a major Thomas fan. We've always done train rides with the kids as we live near a train museum that does short ones between two fairly close cities. One train ride we did in California got "robbed" by "masked bandits" when we had to stop. It was a show they put on. My kids thought it was very exciting and talked about their plans to handle the robbers if they ever came near them.
